Biography
Chilln' on Country, 2026
"When I was young, I went to school in Mintabie before moving to Indulkana when I was a teenager. I’ve lived in Indulkana a long time and I have a lot of family here. My grandpa Whiskey Tjukangku used to paint at Iwantja Arts and I remember coming in watching him paint with the other old men, Mr Baker and old man Mungkuri. My mum Mona and Auntie Lippsey used to do print-making and they would make batik with fabric too. Nowadays, my cousin Kaylene paints a lot in the studio. She’s a good painter and travels a lot for her big shows. I like being in
the studio painting together. We look at each others’ canvas and have a good laugh."
