Stretching out from here, roads connect Kaltukatjara to the other "outsta?ons" of the Australian con?nent - Sydney, Perth, Darwin, and "those other ones down South." Roy's certainty of place and country counters narra?ves of the "remoteness" of Western Desert communi?es. This land is full of life and law
