My artistic exploration delves into the painful legacy of the Stolen Generations. The use of charcoal in my work symbolises the profound impact of this dark chapter in history, where our families resorted to desperate measures, such as darkening their children's skin, to protect them. Through evocative imagery, my art serves as a poignant commentary on the resilience and strength of our Old People that faced unimaginable hardships.
