Off The Clock: 7th - 21st November 2026

Behind every thriving art centre is a community of dedicated individuals who work tirelessly to support the artistic practices, stories and cultural expression of others. For many, this commitment means choosing to live and work in remote communities, embracing both the immense privilege and responsibility of working alongside Indigenous artists and their communities.

Yet, in dedicating so much of their time and energy to nurturing the creativity of others, their own artistic practices can quietly fall to the wayside. Many are artists, makers and creatives in their own right, whose talents and ambitions are often set aside in favour of the work they do for others.

Off the Clock is a celebration of these individuals and the creative lives they lead beyond the art centre. Acknowledging the generosity, passion and commitment of those who have devoted so much of themselves to supporting the work of others, and a chance to celebrate what they create when the time is finally their own.
